Beans and Books was my final project in college. The assignment was to take a business name and create the look and feel of the company. I was given Beans and Books. My vision was an indie coffee shop that combined art, literature, and coffee into a seamless whole. The packaging of the coffee was inspired by 40's and 50's pulp art magazines; infusing the type of coffee, French Roast, with a similar genre of literature, romance novels. The menus were made out of old books covers. Even the business cards were cut to look like an open book. This was an amazing project, which allowed me to use all my creative skills to create something really cool.
